Senior Portraits: Edison

Two days ago, I took my brother to Dania Beach to take his informal senior portraits. We both decided that LifeTouch was too corny and cheesy when it comes to poses, plus it was very expensive. I still have my old high school senior photos to remind myself why I started photography and why I can never have bangs or hoop earrings.

It was hot and muggy at the beach. I really debated if it was the right time to get these photos done. Then the beach was filled of seaweed and then I saw JELLYFISHES. GAHHHHHH! I was definitely hesitant to go in the water to take Edison’s photos. For these set of photos, I edited using Apeture & VSCOcam filters (which I had placed in the photo’s description). I really liked the filtered look for this specific photoshoot. It really brought out the artistic colors and contrasts that I’m really looking for and that VSCO is so known for.

As I photographed my little brother, I realized he’s not so little anymore. In one year, he’ll be joining my other brother in college. Crazy how time really flies by. Edison also helps me out in my photography shoots and took classes in high school for photography. Here are his photos of me taken by my iPhone 6 and I edited using VSCOcam. We’re now working together on Saturday for a baptism shoot, wish us luck!
